Lauren Pesce: Battling Depression With Mike Sorrentino In Prison?
It’s been nearly six weeks since Mike Sorrentino reported to prison to begin serving an 8-month sentence on tax fraud charges.
While the situation has certainly been hard on The Situation himself, much of the concern from fans has been focused on Mike’s long-suffering wife, Lauren Pesce.
Sorrentino and Pesce just tied the knot back in November and she was well aware of his legal entanglements before she accepted his proposal.
Still, bracing yourself for a painful ordeal and actually living through it are two very different things.
And based on her latest Instagram post, Lauren’s followers are under the impression that she’s having a harder time with Mike’s imprisonment than she anticipated.
Lauren posted the above pic this week with only a black heart emoji as caption.
Fans were quick to observe that Lauren seems to be more than a little down in the dumps.
Some even claimed that Pesce appeared gaunt in the photo, as though she’d recently lost a large amount of weight.
“Sad without the situation,” commented one fan.
“Stay strong and healthy my love. The time is gonna go fast before you know it. Keep busy and do the hobbies that you love,” wrote another.
“Don’t lose anymore weight Lauren. You look perfect just the same,” remarked a third.
Of course, many of the comments have to do with the recent rumor that Lauren is pregnant with Mike’s baby.
Several fans insist they saw the news on Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s Instagram Story.
It’s certainly, possible that Lauren’s not showing yet, as Mike has been away for less than two months.
However, it’s worth noting that the item they’re referring to appears to have been removed from Ron’s story.
Speaking of Rahn, it seems Lauren’s not the only one who’s intensely bummed to be away from Mike for a few months,
Magro recently got sober, and he revealed in an interview that he couldn’t have done it without The Sitch.
Ronnie says he and Mike still communicate every day via email, and Sorrentino “still sounds like he swallowed a poetry book.”
Good to know the man’s hardships haven’t changed him too much!
