Johnny Depp: I Can PROVE I Never Hit Amber Heard!
When Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finalized their divorce way back in January of 2017, they signed a non-disclosure agreement indicating that they would both refrain from discussing the split in the press.
However, due to Depp’s defamation suit against a UK tabloid that published shocking abuse allegations against the actor, their messy breakup continues to make headlines.
According to a new report by Us Weekly, Depp is still working hard to clear his name, and his legal team has entered into evidence sworn statements from numerous witnesses who claim that Heard’s claims are without merit.
“Mr. Depp filed new and previously unseen evidence with the U.K. court, including security camera video clips of Ms. Heard’s face in the days following her false beating claims, sworn depositions taken in 2016 from neighbors, eyewitnesses and building personnel who interacted with Ms. Heard in the ensuing days, and more,” says Depp’s attorney Adam Waldman.
One of the depositions comes from Depp’s bodyguard, Sean Bett, who testifies that there were no visible marks on Heard following her alleged confrontation with Johnny.
“My vision is quite good,” says Bett.
“I was able to ascertain that Amber was wearing little or no makeup, her skin is quite pale, and she had no red marks or evidence of any bruises or abrasions to her face or body.”
“Although Johnny was visibly upset at having been accused of hitting Amber, he never came closer than 20 feet to her during the time I was able to observe them.”
Similarly, Depp’s former handler Jerry Judge says he saw “nothing when Heard tried to show him marks on her face.
“Amber stated all of a sudden in a very animated and excited voice, ‘He hit me! He threw a phone and hit me!’” Judge recalls.
“Amber then stretched her neck and head forward for me to look at her face.
“The morning light in the hallway allowed me to see her face clearly and her face looked to me was without makeup as she faced me. I stated, ‘I don’t see anything?’”
Heard has claimed that she was abused by Depp on numerous occasions, and even offered photographic evidence to People magazine of what she says are injuries sustained during an assault by the actor.
She has yet to comment on these latest courtroom developments.
We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.
