Demi Lovato: When Will She Make Her Comeback?
Demi Lovato made her voice heard this week.
The singer, freshly out of rehab, made a return to Instagram in order to encourage followers to vote in the midterm election.
“I am so grateful to be home in time to vote! One vote can make a difference, so make sure your voice is heard! now go out and #VOTE!!!!” wrote Lovato as a caption to a picture of her at the ballot box.
In light of the news that she is, indeed, home, many fans are now asking one specific question:
When will the artist make her singing voice heard?
As in: When might she record some new tracks and/or a new album?
“As of now, there’s going to be no work activity for the rest of the year,” a source says in the new issue of Us Weekly, disappointing fans briefly before adding/teasing:
“Demi will come back hard in 2019.”
This is wonderful news… as long as Demo is ready for a comeback.
She was sober for six years prior to falling off the wagon in early 2018.
During that time period, Lovato churned out plenty of popular tunes, went on tour and enjoyed a very successful career.
But she crashed dangerously hard off that wagon some time around March; drinking, partying and, eventually, overdosing on some kind of narcotic and landing in the hospital as a result.
As has been previously detailed, Lovato nearly died as a result of this overdose.
After leaving the hospital, Demi checked into a rehab facility far away from a handful of bad influences in California.
There had been talk of the star remaining in this facility for at least all of 2018, which is why many were surprised to see photos of Lovato out and about this month.
On November 2, the 26-year old was spotted at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
She was then photographed grabbing dinner in Beverly Hills with Enfants Riches Déprimé designer Henry Levy the following evening.
This second sighting has left supporters concerned because Levy is also a recovering drug addict.
However, sources do tell TMZ that Lovato has at least one very positive influence in her life.
Wilmer Valderrama has reportedly been in close contact with his girlfriend of many years.
The two have remained tight even after their amicable split, and the actor has made a point of sticking by Demi’s side throughout her more recent struggles.
Insiders tell the aforementioned website that Valderrama are just friends, yet talk multiple times per week and have also gotten together a few times of late.
Overall, Lovato is splitting her time between a halfway house – where she spends three days per week – and a private residence in Los Angeles.
She’s able to go to the gym, run various errands and attend multiple AA meetings with the living arrangement.
We continue to send her our best wishes and pray that she is once again on a path to a very long-term recovery.
